I feel kind of embarrassed to be Asian when I see how Jayla Marie team is doing… Like… why isn’t there any effort to have her write her own music? Any encouragement for fun or creative? Like where is the identity and passion? I feel weird and a touch sad watching how the representation is doing. Like why wouldn’t you elevate your own daughter whos korean to make a voice for herself? I don’t feel moved. I often feel like girls and women are looked at as hamsters for other people’s dreams. Where is the happiness in that? Wack. 😂 I’m surprised jermaine Dupree and anyone on the show wasn’t meaner. Pretty kind of them. I appreciate them for including an Asian even if the representation isn’t strong or impressive. The freestyle of prince was good and I liked lil key and tally, too. The parents as managers is interesting to me, too! Netflix and chill day. 🇺🇸
